Silver Threads Workshop, May 3,

New location: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where we meet for guild

Date: May 3, Saturday

Time: 9:00 to 4:00

A delicious sandwich lunch from Publix will be provided.

Please bring a drink that you prefer. The Guild will provide water and tea.

You will need the usual sewing supplies

A small cutting board with small iron would be useful

Please bring extension cords and plug strips if you can.

You will need 1 jelly roll and 2 yds of background fabric

Cut your background fabric into 6.5 by WOF strips prior to class (10)

Bring a 24” ruler and rotary cutter and anything else you might need.

May 8 Guild Meeting, Thursday, 6:30 at Holy Trinity

We are collecting fat quarters to be used for the June Birthday event. Please bring a nice quilt store quality fat quarter to donate at the May meeting.

3. What would you like to learn in the future?

June 12, Trash to Treasure Event, Thursday, 6:30 at Holy Trinity

We are have a trash to treasure event for our June meeting and birthday party. The guild will provide cake and something to drink. Bring finger foods if you would like. Here are the details.

If you would like to rent a table space, cost is 1 yard of brightly colored or children’s fabric. You may display and sell anything you have and the funds are yours to keep. Sign up at the meeting in May or call Kerry Kastl.

  1. There will also be a table of door prize items for which you can buy tickets. Each item will have a jar next to it where you can deposit as many tickets as you would like for a chance to win that item. If you have something you would like to donate to this effort, please do so. Funds raised will go for charity quilting supplies and to buy Burger King cards for our charities to take children out to eat.

You know that one quilter’s trash is another’s treasure so lets have fun in June!
